Bessie's Diner

Neat place. Really cool atmosphere with airplane themed decorations. Service was great, and they were very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit!

Being a Chef from California, our expectations are different than most. Bessie’s Diner hits the mark. Creative menu offerings. Friendly service, everyone greeted warmly. The food was top notch. Well seasoned, prepared good and presented well. So make sure to stop by when you’re in Beloit.

The place is great and the food is wonderful. However, the waitress was awful. Never gave us straws, never brought us sauce, and we had to ask a different waiter for the check. She looked tired and like she didn’t want to be there. She kept heading to the back to avoid providing service. Next time, we will come back and hopefully get better service.

Love the atmosphere. Beautiful airplane details in a vintage diner. Named after a female pilot from the Beloit area, makes it a great story and theme being located at the Rock County Airport. I had the seasonal pancakes (mint chocolate chip with an Andes Candies drizzle, being March) they were delicious. Great view of the air field and runways. Loved it! We will return.

The atmosphere is amazing. The entire back wall is a window so the view is great. The decor is so cute. They have a great drink menu, especially if you're doing brunch. The menu displays a wide range of different items, each sounding as good as the one before. It doesn't just sound good though, it is good. Definitely doesn't disappoint. I also feel it should be noted that they serve one of the best Bloody Mary's in all of Rock Co. The service was on the slower side, as they were very busy. Although I was there during peak hours which leads me to think they may just be understaffed. Even with that being said the meal was worth the wait.
