Ishnala Supper Club

Nestled deep in the woods, Ishnala has a truly rustic and unique feel with delicious food. My only complaint is that it seems like no matter when you arrive, it’s always an hour + wait so they can get a few drink$ out of you at one of their three bars before you’re seated for dinner.

The long wait times feel a bit forced.

Beautiful rustic setting above Mirror Lake and a very traditional supper offering old fashions, steak, and seafood. Why three stars? While everything was good nothing really stood out as exceptional and the prices were definitely on the high side for the quality of the offerings. Both of us felt the old fashions were just average. On the plus side if you like quantity the portions are very large indeed.

I went here with my parents for a belated father's day dinner on a Friday in June, and it was perfect. Situated high above mirror lake, there are 3 bars with great views and great drinks while you wait for a table (and you will wait, as this place is popular and doesn't take reservations).
My advice: come around 5 or so, put your name in for a table, and get a drink or 3 from the excellent bartenders along with some dip or cheese curds while you enjoy the view. The food is well worth the wait.

Classic Wisconsin Supper Club. Diane and everyone else there was fantastic. Expensive, though with it. We upgraded to the lobster, it was probably the best lobster I have ever had. The steak was perfect. The views are beautiful.

They don’t disclose allergens!!! Had the duck strips as an appetizer and they came out with what looked like bits of oatmeal scattered across the breading. We asked and it turned out the bits were PEANUTS. I reread the menu and it did not state that the duck strips contained peanuts.

Otherwise an incredible place. The most unique and outstanding setting with amazing service.
