The Gravy Train Family Restaurant

Stopped here after riding the train. Great home cooking! Home made deep fried cheese curds and mozzarella sticks. Super nice employees!

For starters I live in North Freedom for a short time and everything was very Grey in my life till I went here. Might sound dramatic but I'm not I promise, the atmosphere is very cozy very comforting. They have a great staff and amazing owner who puts her heart and soul into making this business run smoothly, I grew very fawned of them very quickly . The food is very good and great portioned, staff is very kind and welcoming I love them and their food so much .

We were in North Freedom on a Sunday for a train ride. We stopped by the diner afterwards and we were so happy that they serve breakfast all day on Sundays. We loved their giant pancakes (we asked for chocolate chips) and the sausage melted in your mouth. The omelets were tasty and delicious. The prices were very reasonable.

Enjoyed lunch today !! It was Fermentation Fest and the Restaurant was swamped !! I think the volume of people today (Saturday) was unexpected. This is a small homey style restaurant and not a large staff. We were treated very well and enjoyed our stay !! Our food was hot, pleasingly served and very tasty !! If your looking for a delicious breakfast or a friendly tasty lunch this is a super place for you !! Those are the only times of the day I have been there. I am told their Friday fish is very good also !! Give it a try !!
