Atmosphere was busy. Food was great with super large portions. Decor was comparative to Red Robin with nostalgic movie decor. Hash browns are seasoned so if you don’t like that, don’t order them. My kids love the Grinch and so when they seen their animatronic statue they loved it! Each table has a mini juke box and there is a large one inside the diner. Seating around a counter is super cool. Murals of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe outside with Elvis in the window and Superman in a real phone booth inside. Cost of food was value priced and coincided with the quality. If you go to Wisconsin Dells this is a great place for breakfast! Only reason why we gave this a 4 star review is because there is no Braille on bathroom door signs and accessibility is limited along with limited parking.
We had quick service and a very friendly waitress. Our water and coffee never went empty. Breakfast was good. The decor is fun to look at as well!!!
NOTE: Denny's only takes cash! They have an on-site ATM, but be ready!
Denny's Diner had a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff (who always kept my coffee and water filled), with pretty good breakfast food. The decor is a mishmash of pop culture and a 1950's diner, which fits the place really well. We split a caramel pecan roll, which was delicious and big, which was a good thing; we ended up having to wait 45 minutes for 2 plates of breakfast food.
I ordered corned beef hash and eggs, while my girlfriend ordered biscuits and gravy and potatoes. This order should not take that long. While the entire place was packed, it seemed like most people were not eating, but waiting. The food itself was pretty good and came in large portions. The coffee wasnt the best, but it really was bottomless coffee.
I would go to denny's again if I knew it would be quicker and less busy, but overall I'm still glad we went there.
Nostalgic diner. Reasonably priced on a full plate! We had Eggs Benedict and Blueberry Pancakes. Meal was served quick and coffee cup never empty. The only negative point were the few younger waitresses/busers wore awfully tight leggings.
Cute place. Love the atmosphere and loved our waitress! I ordered the smothered steak sandwich- medium rare - and the steak was over cooked and rubbery. :( super disappointing. Didn’t even eat it.
The fries are yummy, the cinnamon rolls were delicious and our waitress made me the perfect mix of mocha/caramel iced coffee that was soooooo good!
