Easily 5 stars. The food is delicious. The prices aren’t bad. The atmosphere is in the basement but very cute. Harder to find on Hudson’s main drag, but worth the hunt.

The service was good, serious and business-like. The meal was delicious, served hot and rather fast. I dined on Wednesday evening, ordering a schnitzel dinner on the half-price special. The white and red cabbage where quite tasty and my selection of German potato salad was over the top delicious with the schnitzel! They have a number of German beers on tap, served by the pint or litre! I will be back!

I love this restaurant. It feels very authentically German to me. The food is good and the beer is good. This is a great place to talk business or hang out with friends.

Very authentic German cuisine! Homemade food, great aromas & delicious meals. 12 superb German tap brews. All in a basement atmosphere.... it's like being in Berlin. Just go....

Fabulous food and great service. German is generally one of my least favorite cuisines, but I'll go here as often as I get to Hudson, which is half an hour from home. The huge pretzel appetizer is amazing and everyone in our group of seven loved everything they ordered. I was there with some foodies and they were thoroughly impressed. This place has been in business for 20 years (as of 2019) and they deserve at least another 20.
