Star Prairie Sports Bar

I've been frequenting this place about once a week for the better part of four years. I have seen many employees come and go, but one bartender deserves special recognition. Jackie is an amazing bartender! Whenever I come here for their Tuesday wing night (which is absolutely delicious), she takes good care to ensure that my glass is full and I never leave hungry. Some weeks it seems she is busier than others, but the service is always top notch. If something gets messed up with an order, she always goes out of her way to make it right. She also has a contagious smile and a positive attitude. She deserves a raise!

I also enjoy when Abby (sp?) Bartends or cooks. Her and Lily working together are essentially a dynamic duo! They definitely pay attention to detail and work quicky and well under pressure.

The owner is also incredibly friendly and is the hardest working woman I'm aware of. She spends seven days a week managing and owning a local DQ, and then will stay at the sports bar and help out on her way home. She's not afraid to help the kitchen staff or to bartend. As a former bartender, that's always nice to see because it shows that they actually care.

My only complaint, as petty as it may be, is it often seems like whoever is in charge of ordering food and supplies is not doing the best job. They are frequently out of stock on various common items.

Otherwise, this is a wonderful place and you should definitely go there on a Tuesday evening for wings :)

Nice small town sports bar. Great breakfast menu with all the normal fare. Mexican omelette is my favorite. Fair prices too!

Always a great place to eat. The food is always good.

Best Fish Fry and Prime rib anywhere on weekly special nights. Everything on menu and specials unbeatable in area.

Servers were attentive and super friendly. I had the parmesan and herb crusted walleye. It was absolutely mouth watering! Reasonable pricing doesn't hurt, either. I highly recommend you give them a try. Lots of variety on the menu, too.
