The food was great however was disappointed that prime rib was not served the night we were there but rather ribs. When you drive half hour and expect to be getting prime rib and then are told you can’t have it kinda sucks mss as bye better advertising. Staff was very friendly as was the owners. Beautiful building with a great scenic view out large windows. Loved that this was more of a relaxing environment focused on the food rather than a bar.

We had burgers and the other couple we were with had pulled pork. The burgers were excellent. Done perfectly on a toasted bun. Home cut
fries with Cole slaw. The pulled pork sandwiches were so good you didn't need bbq sauce. Nice clean open lodge type dining room with a fireplace overlooking the lake. The owner came and checked with our table to make sure all was ok and the waitress was very good also. They have a fish fry on Friday night and had a prime rib special on Saturday. Wish I had tried it. Good reason to go back, and we surely will.

Their haddock fish fry was the BEST I've had in years! It has to be the delicious seasoning in their (very) light breading and served with a bowl of fresh romaine salad or a homemade slaw (slaw recipe is a nice change from the typical recipe), choice of potato & slice of marble rye. I had the 2-piece meal for $ 11.95 and Sam, our server, did an excellent job taking care of our party of 7. I will be back again often!
