The Driftless Cafe is the trendy restaurant you’d never expect to find in Viroqua. All of the food is absolutely incredible. I’d go so far as to say the beef tenderloin is among the top cuts of beef I’ve ever eaten. As someone who doesn’t normally eat fancy cheeses, even the cheese plate blew me away. Much of this comes down to the local ingredients they use. The menu is small and rewritten daily to best use the local ingredient options.

Cozy atmosphere, terrific friendly staff. AND...I had a superb sirloin. New menu every day. Don't miss out. ..go here.

The food was all right off the farm-truly-the same day it was prepared. Even the lettuce was the freshest I ever tasted. The creativity of the dishes which mixed unique flavors together were exquisitely and thoughtfully prepared and presented. The waitress knew the menu intimately and graciously spent time describing each dish and the farms they came from.
Our drinks were savory on-tap beer and a delicious juice. We had to forgo the luscious sounding desserts as we were quite full.
As we live 4 hours away in Chicago and frequent delicious food establishments, this was absolutely top-notch. It is worth driving out to Viroqua for a treat once in awhile. Thank you Driftless Cafe!

What a gem. Really good food combined with exceptional service. ...and a nice atmosphere. We had wild rice soup, pork tacos and catfish poboy and it was all good. Save room for dessert.

Very nice farm to table restaurant, wide selection of craft beer, but could have had more on the lunch menu for selection. Wait time for the waitress to return to take our order and then to receive our food was a little more than average for lunch but the food was well worth it. Wish the portion for the quiche was a little bigger. And if you pay with cash you pay 3.99% less as if you would with credit card. Since they charge you to pay with card.
