Borgens Cafe

Thanks to Blaine and crew for wonderful service and atmosphere for our 40th high school reunion! The buffet was fabulous as always. The room was the perfect size for our group. We highly recommend Borgen's for group events!

They went above and beyond for my family to have breakfast before my mother's funeral. Great service and really good food. We had the back room. I would like to thank everyone that helped put this together for us. I highly recommend Borgens.

Food good, but service not so great they had a big table so small tables didnt get attention. Never refills on drinks, had to ask for straws four times before finally received, never picked up plates from buffet, had to ask for check. Service sucked. But food good.

I was there on Monday for lunch. The food was really good, including really excellent lefse, and the wait staff were very pleasant and efficient. But THE NOISE!!! My companion and I had to practically shout at each other in order to have any kind of conversation. It seemed that the conversations of all the other customers were amplified to rock concert level. What on earth is that about? Only reason I didn't give you 5 stars.

This is a very clean and friendly family style restaurant with a Norwegian flavor. On Sundays a large tow behind smoker is parked in front of the restaurant and magic happens. My wife had lunch there yesterday, she having a pulled pork sandwich and I had the BBQ ribs. They were excellent. A side of hash browns was perfectly done, but a side of sliced carrots were a bit over done. The soup and salad bar, included in the lunch, was fresh and had lots of variety. We didn't see the regular menu, but all the specials on the Sunday menu will keep us returning. Service was good and prices were very reasonable.
