Ivan's On the Square

Enjoyed the Rueben and pork sandwiches. The potato salad was good also. Not sure how the tortilla chips compliment the sandwiches.

Love the fact they take reservations on a Friday night. Service is excellent. No drinkers at our table. Started with the seafood nachos. Very tasty with crisp corn tortillas a variety of fish and shellfish, perfectly seasoned cheese sauce and fresh pico. Two at our table had perfectly prepared perch with french fries. I had the baked cod and they happily subbed a vegetable for the potato for me. The seasoned vegetable blend of broccolini and roasted grape tomatoes was very good. The cod was flaky and tender. The serving was smaller than other times I had it. All the plates came with good creamy coleslaw, yummy tarter sauce, lemon wedge and marble rye bread.

The French Dip sandwich was the best I have ever had! A very quaint, friendly restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My friend and I both had the southwestern salad and we both LOVED it! Our waitress was fantastic!! Very friendly and personable. They have a saying above the door "walk in as strangers, leave as friends". It was definitely true of our experience!
