Came here 5/3/19. Short wait and excellent food! I had a pulled pork sandwich with their beans! I needed more barbecue sauce on the sandwich though, that's my fault for not asking for extra! My husband had the ribs and he said they were good and tender! I definitely give them an A++! Excellent barbecue! We will be returning! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Well worth the drive!
If you are just driving through stop in, if you want BBQ like no other stop in, if you want the owner to walk around and talk to you passing out samples stop in, if want to taste corn bread like you never have had before ....stop in.... I think you get my drift.
This place is amazing, the smells, the people, the tatse.
Nothing like it from here to the South.
Bike nights, out door seating, and family style seating. All are welcome and he recognizes L.E., military and fire department personnel , clearly in his building. True and patriotic!
The brisket nachos are my favorite! I love the brisket here, no matter how it comes. I've never had a bad meal here and if I lived closer is come regularly. We visit when we're in the area. The new location is beautifully renovated with great service. They have sweet tea and family style seating with clean bathrooms. A must visit!!
So let me start with wow. This was delicious to the point I ate too much because I couldn't stop. Ribs amazing. Potato salad really good. Beans and ribs also great. Only thing I wasn't estatic about was the BBQ sauce it's vinegar based and not my cup of tea. However this meat needs no sauce it's tender and juicy and delicious. My coworkers are drooling over my microwaved leftovers for breakfast.
Finally paid a visit this past Saturday (4/6/19) and glad we did. There was quite a long line when we arrived but chatting with some of the people in line they told us to wait it out and that we would not regret it and we did not.
The line, for as long as it was, moved pretty quickly and for how busy it was we found a place to sit. The food easily lived up to the hype. We got the sample and everything was delicious. My favourite was the brisket but all was delicious. The sides (we got ribs n beans and cornbread) were tasty and the banana pudding for dessert was also very good.
The whole time we were there the line was long but it seemed to move fairly quick. If you show up and there is a long line just get in it; you will not regret it. We will certainly be stopping in again!
