Carvetti's Grill & Tap House

I very much enjoy coming here, mostly to eat outside. Outside dining is beautiful! So I was disappointed to have outside dining closed on a beautiful fall evening.
Service has always been good.
Not a Chicago fan of any kind; they could step it up with New Jersey Devil's stuff????

I have been going to carvettis since I turned 21 almost 4 years ago. I love it. They play good music, the bathrooms are clean, the patio and outdoor bars are awesome. The only reason why I don't give 5stars is because I don't feel like they use the correct amount of alcohol in their mixed drinks. Example: a couple weeks ago I was out with a friend and she ordered a pitcher of rum and coke. (I am a bartender) I watched the girl make the drink. A container that size should have a 5 second pour of booze. She poured enough to just cover the bottom of the cup (about 2seconds). My friend asked if she could taste it before she paid for it. She couldn't even tell that there was alcohol in it and I could see why. I felt like the fish bowl I got was extremely weak as well. I don't know if you use auto-pour spouts, but maybe jiggers would be useful to ensure that people are able to fully enjoy their beverages. You guys are great though!!
