The Black Sheep

By far one of the greatest restaurants we’ve been too. We stop by every chance we get on our way to/from Chicago. They have literally the best grits we’ve eaten North of the South (and better than most of the south too!). The composition of there grits changes from month to month, along with most of their menu. Which means there is always something new to try. My mouth begins to water just thinking about how good it was. The staff is super friendly too. One of the chef’s will always come out and say hullo, which makes for a nice dinner environment. This is definitely well worth the stop!

Amazing 5- star food, portions a bit small for price. I ordered a full size smoked salmon salad, it was more like a side salad size but delicious.

The most excellent steak we have ever had! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the rib ribeye steak to share between the two of us. Plenty of food for us. Also had an exceptional old fashion with bourbon from a local distillery. Really, really great local place! Worth every penny for really amazing food!

We stopped by with friends for dinner & had a great time! Everyone loved their meals and we really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. We're already talking about our next trip back.

Very cute atmosphere. The food was fabulous!! I told everyone about this food for weeks. It's great because you know the food is healthy as well. The cocktails were beautiful and very unique. I will be making the 45 minute drive to come back.
