Blue Heron

This was our third trip to Blue Heron. We had a Saturday special. Two New York strip steak dinners for $39.99. The meal includes garlic mashed potatoes, soup or salad and a dessert. The steaks were okay, but the sauteed scallops were wonderful. You can choose scallops, crab legs or shrimp.

I had celery soup, which one would think would be dreadful, given it's well celery. Wrong! It was delicious. Hubby had a good looking salad. Warm bread was good also. Our waitress Ginger was outstanding.

Ended with chocolate lava cake to share. Yum! We will be back soon.

Excellent all you can eat fish and chicken fry! Good prices too! Cozy atmosphere.

What a fish fry is meant to be. Family style helpings and a room full of locals. Good fish and chicken, but they really need an improved potato option on the side. The fries were meh, bring in some potato pancakes to make this a 5 star

Stopped for their duck dinner special tonight, a periodic special menu offering. Absolutely delicious! I had the cherry orange sauce, my dinner companions had the duck gravy. Wild rice mix on the side. Broccoli soup, salad, hot bread. Just wonderful!

During the Holidays with our friends, Blue Heron is our place to go.. Donnie is Awesome! and makes the best of drinks. Wednesdays & Fridays is the Fish & Chicken All-u-can-eat for a low price of under $15.00. Go on a Wednesday night! Good Luck if you go on a Friday. Place will be packed.. We come here a few times a year and every time it just is better and better. The Wait staff is so home friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Love Blue Heron! Wish we lived closer.. So We could come here more often! ???? ???? ????????????
