Beyond The Board

I LOVED visiting this place! My friend and I also ordered subs and the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning! We met the co-owner and he was so nice and was able to teach us several games. Thanks for a great time!

We were on the hunt for a particular game, and while the retail section of this store is pretty small, they had a pretty decent selection of games. Looks like a great place to come and hang out with friends, though! The cafe idea is great, and I love that you have your pick of many games to play on-site! Cool business model.

Great place to go have fun. The prices are very reasonable. The food is great. The owners are very helpful with teaching games. They have about 500 games, enough that you never have to play the same one twice, if you don't want to. They also have a lot of new releases. All the games that they sell you can play first and avoid buying a game you don't like. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and friendly. Come out and enjoy the fun.

A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and we were looking for a good place to hang out and play some games. I came in simply for the table space, but the experience blew me away. This place has so many games, which is awesome because I often wish I could play through games before buying them. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and struck the right balance of giving people their space while always being available. Food and drinks were reasonably priced for the situation and really hit the spot. They're not a resturant, but you can tell the put care into their food prep to make sure everyone has a top notch experience. I don't make it over as often as I would like, but having a place like this in the area is so amazing and I intend to stop by as often as I can!

My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out for a few months (we’re huge board game enthusiasts) and finally got to in early May (on our anniversary, no less!).

This place did not disappoint! We had so much fun learning THREE new games and playing one we already knew, while eating some good food! Justin is a great teacher, and very patient.

They have a LOT of great games, including the hot releases, the classics/gateway games, and even party games. They also have many drink and food options, all of which were great (we had pizza and mozzarella sticks).

Can’t say enough great things about this place, and about Justin! Thank you for being warm, inviting, and patient! I only gave you 5 stars, but I owe you 5 more! Amazing place!
