Texas Roadhouse

Maybe it's the availability of great cuts of meats at the local grocer, or perhaps my standards are changing as I get older, either way I just wasn't that impressed. We went to celebrate my father's birthday and the service was great, but the food was just okay.

We had six adults and half of us ordered steak, which came out as ordered. The other half ordered ribs or another entree. Unfortunately the ribs came out Luke warm at best and had to be sent back to be reheated. As a result the rest of the table finished eating before the reheated ribs came back out. The staff was very gracious and took care of that situation but nonetheless it added to the feeling that the food is just okay.

My steak and particular was cooked properly, I ordered it 'loaded', with mushrooms and onions, but the mushrooms felt old. It was like they had been cooked much earlier in the day and we're kind of soggy. Overall I felt that the plate could have had better presentation. It doesn't help that one of my sides is a salad which comes out before the meal, which leaves room on the plate and makes it look scarce. I have to imagine for the prices you're paying they can afford to give you a salad and two sides.

overall I'd say it's a great place to go if you're on the road and are feeling a steak. But if you're looking for a really good steak, there are better options.

Great food if you can get in the door!
My family recently made reservations for this location because we knew there would be a long line. If you go in the evening or on a weekend you can expect a 45 minute+ wait.

Even with reservations we were forced to wait until a table opened up. There were not enough child chairs because they only have about 4 of them. Let’s just say it’s not the most kid friendly dining experience.

The food was great and my steak was cooked to my specifications, so that is worth a star right there. The service was ok and the staff was friendly.

Overall it was a good night out.

My experience was absolutely great. I don't usually get disappointed by Texas Roadhouse. No matter what location I go to the service and food are usually great. This location I sat at a bar side table and bartender Tabby was our waitress. Did a GREAT job with the service of the table. My unofficially adopted son had a blast as it was his first time to roadhouse. Thank you moreland rd location for the great experience.
