Ichiban Sushi & Steak House

Volcano roll is delicious! Very good rolls. Ordered for pickup. Looking forward to trying the sashimi next time. One roll was incorrect, but the staff took care of it, as soon as possible, without question--that's a true sign of caring for a customer. We will definitely go back.

Smaller place, quick and friendly service, spotlessly clean. Food was ready quick and it was FANTASTIC! I'll drive past the bigger local sushi place to go to this place and they don't close for that weird few late lunch hours.

Awesome sushi and hibachi restaurant! We go there regularly for the past two years and its the best! Just spent my birthday there last week and will definitely be coming back. Service is fantastic and the food is so yummy.

Ichiban is probably one of my favorite things about a town like Sussex. For a town with such a small variety of food options, it's slightly surprising that a great little place like Ichiban is nestled into a strip mall where the remains of Blockbuster still fail to bring in a new tenant. The food is fantastic, not exactly cheap yet entirely affordable, and 100% delicious. If you go on multiple occasions you'll recognize the same staff that is dedicated to providing a great eating experience. Whether you're looking for somewhere to take your hot date, your mom for her birthday, or your family who loves some sushi, I would wholeheartedly recommend Ichiban. Unless it's Monday. They're closed so just stay home.

Had a blast here. Was with a group. We overwhelmed the place. Food orders got mixed up and drinks were everywhere! The server was good and kept up with us as best she could. Food was well prepared, I had steak and scallops cooked on a hibachi with assorted veggies. Overall a good experience.
