Magellan’s On Main Street

We had dinner on a Sunday. The pizzas were delicious! The crust was perfect. Russell was the only person bartending and serving..it was late Sunday so they didnt expect a lot of customers. .he was amazing. Super nice and made sure we were doing good. Top notch service.

The beer selection is stellar - over 40 taps - and keeps getting better. Lots of local selections, with a style for anyone. Sours, porters, stouts, all kinds of ales. Also a vast, and delicious, selection of specialty pizzas.

Fantastic pizza. The crust made it for me: a little crispy, a little chewy, a little yeasty (in a good way). They are not afraid to try unique toppings like the Dirty, Dirty topped with some bites of deep fried mac n cheese.

A group of friends and I were out for dinner and drinks and had a horrible time down the street at People’s Park where we were essentially ignored for an hour and forced to give up our table to wait for another one. We instead walked down the street to Magellan’s, and I’m so pleased we did. We were greeted warmly by the bartender as we entered, were seated immediately, our waitress took our drink orders and brought food menus within seconds, and she was sweet and kind and very attentive. The food selection was huge, and everything we ordered was delicious (especially the spinach artichoke dip). Next time, we are starting at Magellan’s! We appreciated the amazing service, especially after coming from such a negative experience down the street.
