The Freckled Frogg Cafe

I was so delighted we were able to pull off of the highway and eat lunch at this gem of a place. The drinks (my husband and I had two different kinds of lemonade) and food were spectacular. I had a chicken quesadilla with beans. The salads that came along with the meal were a highlight. Fresh veggies and fruit with delicious dressing. Yummy!

This is a quaint little cafe that offers imaginative, out of the ordinary offerings. It’s like something you would find in Key West. I enjoyed a Beet, Goat Cheese salad that had 20 some ingredients including edible pansies and a lovely orchid!
There’s indoor and outdoor dining and reservations are suggested as it is a small place. The desserts are decadent and as much works of art as was my gorgeous salad. I will definitely return. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because I would have enjoyed a lovely, crusty baguette with my salad...4.75 stars!!

Amazing place! Definitely recommend the grilled cheese and salads. Awesome homemade iced teas and lemonades too! Menus change everyday and there are limited hours so I'd highly recommend to get a reservation. Great for kids and dogs

Best healthy meal I've had in WI! Quaint little place to go for lunch after a morning paddle on the chain of lakes. Great fresh food and very filling! Pleasant staff, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Words cannot describe how awesomely delicious and fresh the Freckled Frog food is! I felt guilty touching the amazingly plated dishes...and then you start to eat...it's what I would picture how perfection tastes! WOW!!!! This gem along the main street in King is a must for anyone who appreciates fruits, vegetables, meats, and bread that are so fresh they taste like were on the farm, in the garden, or fresh from the bakery minutes before serving...we have eaten here twice, and we can't wait to eat here again! THANK YOU!!!!!
