Parker John's BBQ & Pizza - Menasha

Very good this time. Had 5 different meats and they were succulent and well smoked. Quinoa salad side was a nice option. Ribs and Mac n Cheese were pretty average but everything else was great.

Not only do they have great food but their service is impeccable. Our pizza came out a few minutes after the other meals. We didn't ask them to do this but they decided to make us another pizza to take home and gave a small discount on the meal. They have hospitality figured out. Don't change a thing!

They do a lot of business here but we didn't have to wait for a table. There was only two of us and we ordered the haystack onions for a appetizer. We got this enormous amount of onions to feed at least 5 people. I didn't realize I could order a half portion. Doesn't say it in the menu. That trend continued for the rest of the meal. What I ordered was twice what I could eat. My wife and I both had our fill of the leftovers from just my meal the next day. Crazy amount of food but not expensive. Highly recommended if you want barbeque.

Why I gave it 4 stars.......
We love going to Parker Johns, they have great food at a great price and now they deliver. We always have great food. This would make me rate it a 5. However, I have had two experiences that would cause me to rate it a 3 hence the 4. We stopped in on Friday night and placed our order at 8:40 pm for a club chicken sandwich (one of the best around) and the all you can eat haddock (if you like haddock theirs is amazing). We did not get our food until 9:30 pm. They where not overly busy in the restaurant and I do understand they could have had pick ups and devilries that cause the delay in getting our food. We had another experience several months ago where our server was non existent and again they place was not that busy. However, would this stop me from going back, no. They have amazing food and for the most part good service. The bartender who waited on us Friday night was outstanding and very apologetic about the wait. So, the food is good and it worth the wait, just a little bit of a down fall when you are trying to have a quick dinner somewhere.

Place has a awesome atmosphere. Great food all around awesome Friday fish fry best in the valley. Derick the manager very professional and very good on running a restaurant. All the host are polite and very quick on service. I tired most of the apps everyone has been awesome. The wings are the best in the state.
