Mineshaft

Went there for our wedding anniversary and we were very excited to check it out. My husband ordered the prime rib which looked like a ham steak drowned in gravy. There was no taste to the steak and my husband just couldn’t eat it like that. I had the chicken Parmesan which actually tasted like microwaved plastic. We both were surprised at this. The place is beautiful and the waitress was terrific!!

Good meal, priced right for breakfast. Servers are still learning though. Suggest they put urns of coffee on table for coffee drinkers cups are small and went empty a number of times.

The food was very good. Chowder excellent. However I had the all you can eat shrimp and Perch. A full plate came out and I could not finish. So I ask for a box and they told me no as it was all you can eat. This was the original plate, I never ask for more. So they rather throw the food away, which I paid for, than give it to me. I could understand if it was from a second helping but this was brought out to me first. Not a good policy.

You will need to come with the mind set, they have just opened and most the employees are still learning their roles. That being said our waitress was very helpful and polite. I ordered a Ruben, which I haven't had in a long time. Mostly because I like mine in a very specific way. Thin sliced corn beef, and just the right amounts of sauce and sauerkraut. This was the best I've had in a long time.

Still some opening kinks to work out. Waitress was polite, ordered two pizzas and another dish, when the food arrived it was only the pizzas. Some how the other meal was forgotten, not sure if it was waitress or the kitchen. 15 minutes later we got the other meal. Pizzas were delicious. Chimichanga was pretty good, although it could use some cheese on the outside. Game room was decent. Expensive as any place is. Overall we are looking forward to trying more menu items and will be back soon.
