Lake Dexter Drive In

My wife and I did not have any food or drinks here. We just pulled into the parking lot to wait out a strong thunder storm. The ladies inside were just opening up for the day, and waved for us to come inside. They were so friendly and kind, and let us wait inside until the storm was past.

Traveling through Wisconsin, this was a nice stop for us to grab some soft serve ice cream. On our way back from our travels, we stopped for supper. Great cafe style food. Fast, friendly service. No credit cards accepted. Oh yeah, they have a dining room, lots of picnic tables, and drive-in eating where the car hops serve you at your car.

We finally got a chance to stop during business hours! We've driven past countless times, but always in the winter or at night it seems. It was well worth the wait! The food was out-done only by the fantastic waitstaff! We're telling everyone we can about The Dexter Drive -in.

Great food and ice cream for a great price. Great service. Hard to see the menu from most parking spots.

Fast and friendly service. Make sure you have cash or a check book handy though because they don't take debit or credit cards. Wonderful scenery in that area as well.
