Really great catfish for being this far north, I didn’t get the Gumbo but another one in my group did and was happy that they did. Will be wanting the gumbo next to try myself. Very satisfied, the owner/chef set up a game of pool for use shortly after we ordered since we came in a little early for the dinner rush.
Amazing food, great service, friendly people.
They have the best catfish around, the gumbo is perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a better smoked bbq pork sandwich.
Overall great experience and we will definitely be back more and more
The food and people behind the food are fantastic. We had them cater a grand opening for us and everything was amazing. They took great care of us and I will be dreaming about the shrimp toast for a long time. What a great addition to Marshfield.
Wisconsin is known as the Badger State in recognition of its mining tradition and we felt like lucky prospectors to find this jewel of Creole cuisine created by the very cordial proprietor Wendy, a recent transplant from Louisiana, who will simply delight you with the family recipes she learned growing up in the bayou.
We both had the catfish. It was amazing. Some of the best fish I've ever had. From my reviews, you can see this is something I take seriously. I haven't tried everything, but I would say it's definitely some of the best fish I've had.
