Mustang Cafe & BBQ

We had dinner and breakfast at this place, excellent food, great service and very reasonable prices. Mostly local frequenting this place which is a good sign.

The food was pretty good. Service was very slow. Took 10 mins or longer to be acknowledged. A couple came in after us, ate and left long before us. We waited 15 mins just to pay. The place is cozy and nicely decorated, but there are a lot of flies.
Also, to note (bc no one will tell you and there no signs up), but you seat yourself, and there is a dining room off to the left beyond the bathrooms.

Not a bad place to stop when in town. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The staff was friendly but extremely slow. Not sure what was going on but we saw the waiters just standing beside the kitchen area and talking a few times. I might would come back and try breakfast if I had a chance.

I got the Cuban with sweet potato wedges. The smoked pork on the sourdough was very flavorful, and the wedges were savory and crisp.
The staff is very friendly and responsive.
Overall a great stop and experience.

After a long day of sightseeing we found the Mustang BBQ Cafe on Google and were pleased. Everything from the patriotic decor to the delicious food was outstanding. Special kudos to Dusty, our friendly server. With 15 customers to take care of, she single handedly took care of us with speed and great customer service. #thewanderingvolpis
