The Coop

Had a long business trip and as far as the food was concerned, the Coop was the highlight. Good service, knowledgeable waitstaff of the menu and various sauces. Very reasonable prices and short wait time. We had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I had street tacos for my entrée which were delicious. Will visit this restaurant again the next time I find myself in Gillette.

This great little hole in the wall is worth the stop!

It may not look like much from the outside, but they know what they are doing in the kitchen! Whole roasted chicken with sides and fixings, delicious and great value. Their tacos are outstanding.

They have outstanding sauces and sides. If you're looking for an afternoon, start at the meadery and finish at The Coop. Great experience.

I called in a take out order for dinner on a cold snowy Sunday. Once home I passed out all four dinners and to my surprise everyone started talking about how great the food was! I had been there several times, but the others hadn’t, and are pretty particular. Every morsel was devoured and all were happy!! Already planning for another dinner there soon!!!

Worth the hype, for sure. We went right when they opened on a Friday, expecting it to fill quickly, but it must have been a slower day. We wouldn’t have had to wait at all, even by 11:45am, when we left. Going to try to hit it again for lunch on our way home. The tacos and empanadas were great, but for us.. the beans and rice were also a huge #1. We took the leftovers and devoured them later that night. So good.
