Wyoming's Rib & Chop House- Gillette

I’ve never stopped in and ate here before. But had lunch today and it was worth the stop. They have a large selection on the menu and the food is really good. I had burger and my brother had a BLT. So if you are wanting a good burger this is a good place to stop this town is not short on good burgers. But the advantage of this place it’s off the main hey pulling into town if you are coming from the south.

I went with my family and they were polite but I felt like they would prefer if there was no young ones, age range was 6 to 15. They did have a kids menu of 4 or 5 items and all came in a little paper classic car. Kids menu is only up to age 10 so my small 11 year old ate from the adult menu, he wasn't able to finish half of his food. I had a 7 oz steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare and sautéed spinach that was cold. My husband got the half rack of ribs and he said they were dry even slathered with sauce as they were. My kids all thought the food was good.
On service it was fair, our drinks ran empty and sat there for several minutes before our server refilled them. It was not that busy and from my experience they had more then enough server to cover the little amount of tables.
I really like the one in Billings, MT but this one was nothing compared to them. For the price you spend I expect better service and not cold food to boot. I really don't like giving anything below 4 stars but this was a 3 star. I hope it was that they were just "off" that day.

We were driving from Grand Teton to Devil's Monument and didn't realize there was such a huge stretch of road with no service/restaurants. Thankfully we found this place for a very late lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. For once, I forgot to take pictures of our food because we were all ravenous.

For apps, we got the fried green tomatoes which were great. I got the Louisiana pasta with a side of gumbo. The pasta was amazing, flavor-packed, and the shrimp in it was cooked perfectly. My sister's chicken fried steak was really good as well. Recommend if you're in the area!

Checked this place out while we were staying here overnight and it's definitely worth going to! They have a good variety of steaks, burgers, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and some seafood options as well. Our server was incredible attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, but had an upscale element that made you feel the food would be good and the employees took pride in working there. Great food and service!
