We were greeted promptly at the door by a very pleasant waitress. Drinks . On the spot. Young lady was prompt and attentive.. the surprise...
Joe's is a Chinese American establishment.. I had a well prepared and tasteful dish of Kung Pao Chicken... Plate was just right... Not too much... Not too little... Only had water to drink... Next time we're in the neighborhood will definitely stop...

Ordered szechuan beef, was closer to sweet and sour beef. Tasted good but not the correct dish. Soup was good too.

So happy to see this place open again! We moved to Torrington over the summer, and we were bummed to see that the only Chinese restaurant in town was closed temporarily. They recently reopened, and I got to say, the wait was worth it. Great selections and great quality. Highly recommended!

The food was good. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered Sesame chicken, broccoli chicken, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and egg drop soup. There was plenty of food with leftovers for 3 adults. It was flavorful and a good temperature. They did not have the Thai tea and that made me sad.

Service was a bit slow but once they got going they were attentive and friendly. It could be considered a bit expensive compared to other restaurants in the area but this can most likely be contributed to the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken in the Sesame chicken was very tender and this type of chicken is often chewy and stringy.
