Maverik Adventure's First Stop

Thanks for your hospitality! It was so nice to have a safe, easy place to get some rest.

Great place if you have dogs to take for a walk, they have a nice area with green grass and lots of shade. Unlike the state rest areas where they don't provide any grassy areas for pets to take a walk, usually it's just tough dry grass and rocks if your lucky.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment and the friendliness of the folks working the counter. The bathrooms too were very clean…thank you! However, upon returning to our car we were shocked to realize our car battery was completely dead! My husband (after a couple of tries to get it started) went back inside the gas station, and came out a few minutes later with one of the the employees who pulled her own BIG (personal) truck right next to our car, busted out her jumper cables, and gave us a jump start. BECKY (the most awesome employee ever!!) not only saved the day, but refused to let us tip her in cash. She instead sent us on our way with a smile, a wish that the rest of our trip went without incident, and to have a great day.—-We were so, SO blessed by her kindness that I cannot tell you how wonderful that made our day and prevented a situation that could have been a lot worse.

In this world where there are plenty of folks out there who like to complain or point out problems, it was a pleasure (and a great example for our young daughter traveling with us) what kindness from strangers looks and feels likes again. BECKY is the reason folks (including us) will come back to your clean and courteous Maverik gas station in Buffalo, WY. BECKY definitely went above and beyond today, and is a shining example of Excellent Customer Service and a beautiful person!

P.S. We did make it to Sheridan, WY and bought a new car battery.

Quick place to grab gas and snacks/drinks. A good variety of different options. The staff were friendly and quick to checkout. The store and pump area were clean.

Nice little gas station. Very clean and unique. Prices were good too!
