“Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Everything was fresh and delicious. We got fish tacos, shrimp cocktail, and coleslaw. The lady in the kitchen was kind enough to cook our cod in a pan since we didn’t want it deep fried. It was so good! They even have a “seafood haters” menu with ribeye steak, and kids items like corn dogs and quesadillas. Nice little fresh seafood market too. We’ll definitely have to come back here.”

“I grew up eating here back in the early 80s. Came back to Afton for a family reunion and had to stop in. The decor has changed but the service and food hasn't changed much. They still offer slush puppies!. I had the Double bacon cheese burger, and the Baron Blast drink off the specialty drink menu. We shared a fries, tots, and onion rings. All were perfect, and just what I expected. They also serve fry sauce (aka pink sauce)..and the menu has lots of options. The waitress at the counter was super friendly, patient, and smiles for days. If she had a name tag, I would give her due credit. The only complaint I have..isn't so much the restaurants fault. But the dinning room was PACKED! And it seemed that is was mostly family's with small children, which is fine, bit the teenagers that were being loud and left their table a huge mess was a bit unnerving. Again.not the fault of Red Baron...more so the delinquent "kids" must have never been taught manners. All in all...I'll be back anytime I'm in the area. A classic favorite serving classic treats. Warmed my soul, and filled my belly! Thanks Red Baron!”

“A great local diner that has anything from breakfast to dinner, pasta to steaks or sandwiches and burgers. The fries are battered and amazing. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive. Prices are average for the area it is located in, in the valley, and is open late until 8 pm in case you want a late meal. A clean restaurant that was recently remodeled.”

“This was a small town restaurant that had a big town restaurant quality. The food was great, the service was excellent and the prices fair and reasonable. They had a big selection from steaks, to burgers to spaghetti. Every dish that came out locked and smelled delicious. I had a Tomahawk Steak, which was cooked perfectly and I didn't break the bank paying for it. Then, the desserts, wow, very scrumptious. It is a family restaurant, opening at 11 and serves lunch and dinner. It also has a small bar, which is where I sat, which explains why I saw all the dishes come out. I highly recommend the Kettle Restaurant to anyone wanting a good and delicious home cooked meal.”

“Really enjoyed stopping in for an afternoon break. I had a black coffee. The roast was medium and was well balanced with a rounded toasty flavor at the end of each swallow. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookies were excellent and devoured quickly by my kids. We had the pumpkin spice and coconilla lattes. Both were very good but we all agreed that the coconilla was better in our opinion. We also had a ham, egg, and cheese panini which we all thought was delicious. Prices were very reasonable! We will definitely go back often!”

“I haven't been to Artic Circle in over 20 years. My half brother and I along with my 8 year old son had a sweet tooth and stopped in for a few shakes. The young man who helped us with our order was very friendly and made helpful suggestions. I was a bit shocked at $8 per large shake and $7 for the medium. Upon receiving our order let me tell you I would of gladly paid $10 a shake since the young man who took our order also prepared our shakes with an expert hand. My shake had Snikers and Heath bar in every bite right to the bottom of the cup to the last bite. The restraunt was clean and inviting and everyone I spoke to was very friendly and well mannered. The next time I visit Kemmerer I will definitely be dropping in to the Artic Circle for another comfortable great dining experience.”
