GREAT friendly service (from the gracious hostess up front to the cleanup crew, servers and cook...)
A clean, friendly place.
And the food. !!!
Truly astounded to find such good Chinese food here in northern Wyoming. We have eaten good Chinese in San Francisco, LA, and overseas. This isn't better than those, but the cook here holds his own. I could quibble about some over-tenderized beef, but that was minor.
Mu shu pork with all the right ingredients, including char siu (BBQ) pork. Beef in garlic sauce, with plenty of meat, and LOTS of fresh veggies well prepared (not overcooked.)
YES, Dragon Wall has a buffet. We ignored that and ordered a couple of dishes to go. Nice portions, ready very quickly, well prepared.
On a Saturday evening, they were full to the gills, yet were serving everybody quickly.
You canbe sure we will make a point to stop in again on our next run through this part of the country!
(Yes, I do recommend: Mu shu pork, beef with garlic sauce)
Finally decided to give this place a go, and we were incredibly satisfied with our experience. So much so that we came back 2 days in a row 😂 very affordable, and the food was fresh for lunch time. Honey chicken is my favorite, along with the slow cooked pork. My only complaint is that the salad dressing should be labeled because I made the mistake of putting hot mustard on my salad thinking it was honey mustard (hot mustard had a big wasabi type kick). One of our favorite restaurants in Sheridan. Happy we finally tried it.
It's a buffet so choose carefully. I had hot and sour soup and an egg roll to start and then selected just a little of the dishes that looked interesting. I went back, avoiding the fillers like rice and noodles and took a selection of chicken, seafood and pork dishes that were very tasty. Washed it down with a beer while my wife drank Pepsi (inclusive of the buffet). We both left satiated with a bellyful of tasty food. Value for money at less than $40 for both of us. As good as any Chinese buffet I have ever sampled.
It's a quiet space, lots of space for big groups, medium groups, couples, or singles like me to eat privately and peacefully. Every food I've eaten has been very flavorful, with lots if options. The salad bar has multiple things offered and the desert bar is wonderful too. The price is good if u have a big appetite, if not I'd suggest getting it to go, so you can get as much as you'd like and eat it as you have room for it, although they don't bug you if you sit a long time either. So just go and enjoy, you won't be sorry or disappointed. Very GOOD!!
Very happy with my experience and the food gentleman was extremely nice although be it I was one of two people in there for a late late lunch. I was impressed with the food. As we all know buffets in the later hours tend to get a little stale and a little dry and a little old. The portions in the pans were small but fresh. Will definitely eat here again when I pass through
