We stayed in the RV camping area in the back. It was clean and easy to maneuver. Someone from the front desk guided us to our spot after check-in. It was quiet and just what we needed for the night. I'd give this area 3.5 stars. I didn't use the showers they offer as we had a full hookup site.
I appreciate that they have the travel center deli. It's got several options, though I haven't been blown away by the food. It's a bit of a wait when you order off the menu. The staff are all very friendly. I wish there was a better quality of food offered. There are lots of beverages to choose from and they have all the little things you might need condiments wise, etc.
A time capsule is what you fall into if you take the exit in the last vast nothing of I80 in Wyoming, or the first depending in your direction of travel.
On the surface you may find it a basic travel center for tractor trailers and autos alike via a Sinclair fuel station.
But, if you decide to stay a while and experience the hotel for the night or the hotel lounge for the evening you will find yourself in a time warp.
Awaking in the prime of automotive travel, perhaps you spent the day stopping at roadside attractions, expect to unwind in a room where you wouldn't have been shocked to see a Sinatra or Presley type crooning over a booth.
Great burgers for sure, Wyoming beers on tap, cocktails etc. are all done to expectations and satisfaction.
The room at the hotel was charmed and equally a part of the time transportation experience. Dated at first glance, upon closer inspection you find a well cared for and maintained facility. It was a fun stop.
Tuck driver discount 🤙🏽 me and co driver wife stood here with our cat for 2 nights and overall really enjoyed our stay. We went to the bar and grill and customer service was great. No awkwardness no discomfort very pleasant would recommend!
This place is like stepping back in time, it's very outdated. Pink tile bathroom, the furniture looks to be from the same era. With as much as they charge sometimes, you'd think they could update it a bit more than just the electronic keys... that don't always work. It's not too bad though, we like that it's pet friendly, it's clean and considering how late we usually get here, it's nice that we can still stop in the gas station and find something to eat. They have a great breakfast in the morning there as well, so we can fill up the tank and grab something tasty before hitting the road again. The rooms are quite, I don't hear the outside traffic, so I'm able to sleep well.
Neat place. Very convenient location if you're traveling along I-80 in Wyoming. Tons of parking which is nice if you're towing an RV or trailer. Great service. Rooms were definitely dated, but they were clean and comfortable - I loved that they have rooms with ax extra separate bedroom. My biggest complaint was the noise - I was woken up before 6am by someone in a nearby room taking a shower - it was incredibly loud and sounded like someone was in my bathroom. Probably comes with the age of the place. Beyond that, I have no complaints at all!
