Jim Williams Tutoring

It's been more than 16 years since Jim tutored me in math and physics in grade 11, at a time when my grades were starting to slide. His teaching style extends beyond forced memorization of formulas and cracking the text book - there is a genuine desire for you to grasp the concepts. We continued working together through grade 12, which ultimately led me to a degree in mechanical engineering from Queen's and a career as a professional engineer.

My time with Jim can be considered a long term experiment of his methods, and can honestly say he directly and positively influenced the outcome of my high school & post secondary experience, as well as my career.

Jim tutored me in Math 10, 20, 30 and Calculus, as well as Physics 20, Chemistry 20 and 30. I struggled greatly in each of these subjects, but Jim was able to break down the concepts in to manageable pieces and we were able to work through the courses together.
