Frank McCool Arena

Arena is fine, for figure skating...or kids under 13 to play, seating isn't good for more than 30 or 40 people. Hockey Calgary should know better than to schedule U18 double A hockey here, more people standing than sitting, half a dozen pucks hitting the low ceiling.
Zamboni driver was impressive here though!

This arena is one of the City of Calgary's little diamonds! We have played many hockey games and had many practices and programs here.
The current arena operations staff are amazing. One of our young hockey players was injured during a game here in January 2022. The operations staff member was a young gentlemen who was incredibly kind and helpful getting us water and ice packs. He also checked in on our player and with me to ensure he was okay. I was very impressed. I hope he reads this! Thank you!

Warm seats and good view to watch youth hockey.

Fantastic dressing rooms! Not much space for viewing with the covid restrictions so get a seat early. Overall a pretty nice arena.
