The Twisted Barn

I visited this shop today, and it was so much more than I was expecting. I was looking more for felting supplies and she had a nice selection of roving wool and some speciality yarns that I could use as embellishments... I will be back!!

An excellent shop for purchasing a huge selection of high quality yarns and supplies from a very knowledgeable owner and her staff. For years I have enjoyed shopping and learning at the Twisted Barn. I am never disappointed.

The Twisted Barn is SO worth the drive. When you arrive in the rural location surrounded by farmland, you just exhale. The red barn is so cute and it houses an impressive collection of carefully curated yarn. The owner's taste in yarn is exquisite and she always has some mouthwatering samples to tempt and inspire you. She has a great eye for colour and will happily help you match up combinations and make suggestion. Customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.

This is my new favorite yarn store! The store itself is a lovely space with great quantity stock in a wonderful variety. The owner, Shirley really makes it special. I live in Edmonton and neither of my yarn stores (nor any of the 5 I called in Calgary) could help me source a yarn I needed to finish a project. Shirley got it taken care of in less than 20 minutes. And the icing on the cake, she let me know when she was going to be up in Edmonton and met up with me to deliver it. Incredible above and beyond customer service! I will be back :)
