Bellevue Community Campground

Great little campground. Clean bathrooms and super friendly staff. Can't beat $20 a night.

Super friendly manager (I forget his name)! He took the time to tell us about the local historic sites, where to get tires replaced, which scenic highway to take, etc, etc. There are treats for the dog, maps available, and a few items for sale at the info centre. The gravel sites are pretty level, most have picnic tables and there are a few trees. There's a dumping station by donation, potable water and clean washrooms. Noise from the highway but our expectations were exceeded for $20 a night!

Good place to stop for the night. Suggested price is $10 per night. Most sites within 40 metres of hwy 3, so a bit noisy as the big rigs go by. A deer was struck and killed right in front of us as soon as we parked, but I'm sure that is fairly rare...

Nice views, picnic tables and firepits but no shade. Sani dump and potable water free of charge. Cookhouse, no playground. Cute little white church as decor facing the highway.
