Dr. Mathew and her staff are the best. We started seeing Dr. Mathew at Sandy Lane in 2015 when we became the care givers of our little dog Mojo. Being an ultra researching owner of a dog with allergies and anxiety - Dr. Mathew has always been very patient and thorough in our Mojo's care. She never just prescribes medication or treatments without giving me the opportunity to look things up and always defers to our wishes in his treatment. She is very caring and has been instrumental in my learning the best way to care for our unexpected little charge and all his issues. She truly cares about animals and their care, and it shows every time we are in. And she understands the cost of caring for animals as well and keeps her prices very affordable, which we so appreciate.

We inherited our pup a few years ago who comes with allergies, sensitivities and anxiety... from the first day we walked in we were all greeted with adoration, and Dr Mathew has helped us with a number of problems we have encountered along the way. She has listened to our wishes and provided options in the care and treatment of our precious family member. We have recommended Sandy Lane to others who are looking for quality care of their pets as well.

I’ve been here for two years and neither of my two pets been mistreated, included myself. The only reason I give 4 stars instead 5 is because of the $55 pet fee. I am low income so paying that on top with what I’m taking in my pets for, weighs a little heavy on me financially.

    • Good service
    • Excellent care
    • Compassion
    • Breaks down service costs

Dr. Mathew is really friendly and kind.

This is hands down the best vet clinic in Edmonton. The staff are super friendly, and extremely accommodating. The vet is very nice and explains any concerns so you can fully understand. There is a real 'small town' hospitality feeling from this place. The prices are very reasonable. You don't end up paying for unnecessary surprise expenses at the end of a checkup. The well being of my pet is their #1 priority here and I recommend this clinic to all fur parents.

Highly recommended. Kind and well respected. Very affordable.

Dr. Mathew and her team have always been wonderful with our cats.

They are kind and compassionate, explaining everything before it happens and making us aware of all fees so we can make an informed decision.

This will always be my veterinarian of choice in the Edmonton area.
