    I just moved to Edmonton & was looking for a good hair salon & saw that this one had good reviews, so I decided to check it out. After going for my first time today, I know why. I had a cut & color from the owner Kelly & he was fantastic!! I am extremely fussy so this is saying a lot for me. He not only did an amazing job on the cut & color, but he was also great in teaching me styling techniques, which I so appreciated! And him & his staff were so much fun & so enjoyable to be around! Can't wait to come back! Great people with great skills! I highly recommend him & his salon!

    I have never left a review before but felt this situation deserved it. Please read to the end as I did have a happy ending. However, I have to share the good with the bad to show the whole picture.

    I went to this salon for the first time yesterday and got my curly hair, cut. I always wear it naturally and do not use any product or heat on it. Unfortunately, the man that cut my hair straightened and then cut my hair and finished it with oil; leaving a very unflattering haircut after I washed it and even at that, did not cut my hair well. He never asked if I liked the haircut or wanted changes and just told me “that’s it you’re done” and thinned my hair without permission. He even began to rush at the end when there was another customer. I felt disrespected and a tad upset. I didn’t say anything to the hairdresser, Jonas, as I didn’t want him touching my hair any more. I paid $40 and spent an hour in the salon with 30 minutes of that being him straightening my hair and snagging my earrings.

    I called in today and spoke with Kelly (the manager). I very briefly told him I wasn’t happy with my haircut. He scheduled me in to fix my hair (even though he was fully booked) for the same evening. I have grad tomorrow and couldn’t have it cut any other time. He cut my hair beautifully! He walked me through every step and how to make my curly hair nicer. He was even cautious of my new cartilage piercings. I left the salon the second time, happy and wishing I had payed him for my haircut; he deserves every penny. He even sold me on a foam for my hair and I don’t even use products, but will certainly use this one.He was knowledgeable, meticulous, kind and very upfront( never denying how I felt or the situation like most managers).He never once made me feel like a nagging customer.

    Overall, this salon is clean, well maintained, decently priced and I received one beautiful haircut. Please do not let one hairdresser spoil the image of this salon! Every other person I saw, walked out with wonderful hair. The other hairdressers were equally kind to their clients and I feel that my first experience does not reflect the salon as a whole, only the sole hairdresser. I would feel comfortable having my hair cut with any of the other hairdressers at this salon.They have a strong customer base and I would recommend booking an appointment as opposed to a walk in. This is the first haircut I have had, that has made me want to return to a salon. I will be returning, along with the rest of my family and will be spreading the word. Wonderful business! Thank you so much Kelly, for your time and kindness.

    I always get very nervous when I want to go in to chop my hair off. Today I went in as a walk-in. I had to wait about 30 minutes. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. I will be returning for sure. It was nice because the person who cut my hair wasn't overly chatty I think she picked up on the fact I'm okay sitting quietly. She let me know exactly how short she was planning to cut it and did a very thorough job. It seemed pretty busy so appointments are recommended. I'm very happy with what I got. She gave me her card and let me know her hours.

    I got my hair cut here not too long ago... I just wanted a hair cut. I waited over 10 minutes for the stylist to get ready... Then it took her an hour to cut my hair. I asked for the best cut for curly hair... She straighten my hair before cutting it... I did not ask for a style at all. I told her I wear it curly almost all the time. I paid 42$ for a bad hair cut... She didn't even part my hair or ask how I normally part it... She just used the part I came in with which was... Not very good...
    When I washed my hair and styled it as normal... Curly... My hair looks like a triangle... I'm not impressed or very happy especially when reviewing your website and seeing that a cut costs between 25-37 dollars.
