Mr. Barber

Amazing haircuts and great service. I recently had to find a new barber and a young gentlemen, Kelly, is definitely my new barber! Very likable personality and recommending to friends and family as well!

I just moved to Edmonton and wanted to try a new place that isn't a major national chain. This Mr. Barber was close to home so I gave it a try. When I walked in, no one greeted me like a usual place; eventually someone asked if they could help me and I said I wanted a haircut, so they told me to sit down.

The barbers were wearing masks, but no clients were; although the barber who eventually motioned for me to sit in the chair only had the mask over his mouth, not his nose. So, I made sure to wear one. The protocols on their site said no more than 10 people at any time, but it definitely went above that at times while I was there. No screening was completed.

I asked for the Executive cut which says it includes a wash; at no point was I offered this service. The haircut wasn't bad, but there was very little communication during my visit. I doubt I will go back to this location or business.

Like anyone else I'm sure, it's a leap of faith to try out a new barber. I believe his name was Aamad (please correct me in spelling and I will change). I even tried out a new hairstyle I've been eyeing. I felt he took his time and had attention to detail, and just made sure that I was happy with it. I will be returning to see him, and recommend him, as well as Mr. Barber.
I appreciated also that all the staff were wearing masks.
