  Have had two guitars repaired here now, both have come out immaculate and playing like new. Staff are very friendly and help you with whatever you need. Setups/Repairs are insanely quick too, both are ready after 24 hours in the shop. Will be back to buy soon!

  Visited this location for the first time today. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were there to answer any questions but not hovering of you so you felt pressured which I appreciate. They had a decent selection of guitars and drums which I'm mainly interested in but had only 2 left handed acoustic guitars on display. So my brother who is a lefty didn't have a lot of options.

  I do not know what it is with staff at long and mcquade but most of the staff always seem so miserable and unhappy to help. I try to do my research on what I want before coming in but when I do have questions I am usually met with snarky responses as if my question was stupid. This alone will lead me to a different location or online. 4 stars because the store is at least clean and I did see some very enthusiastic staff helping other customers, just wish I was able to deal with them instead.

  I was looking to get back into guitar without breaking the bank. I was browsing buy/sell ads and it wasn’t going very well.
  
  I decided to browse the store on 149 st, and I walked out with a nice new “used” setup about an hour later. The prices were better than what most private sellers were asking & the no-pressure sales team let me try whatever I wanted.
