This place is worth the hype- the BEST green onion cakes in the city! Make sure you bring cash as they don't accept debit/credit. There is a ATM across the street however if you forget. The couple that own this place are adorable, super friendly and have truly perfected the art of the green onion cakes- fluffy, savory and melt in your mouth!
There are other small items available such as hot and sour soup, samosa's etc. You can dine in or take out. There is also an option to by frozen , toaster friendly versions that you can make at home.

Sooo delicious. We had the green onion cakes, veg. spring rolls, pork dumplings and hot and sour soup, and it was absolutely perfect. Not only was it so yummy, but the owner was so friendly, came to check on us multiple times and even made my husband "special sauce" for his dumplings - and then told us the ingredients! It was a simple dinner and the atmosphere is almost nonexistent but that's not what we were there for. The owner and the food are really what makes this place so great.

    Yum, yum and more yum!

Sui To is one of the most amazing characters in the city and his food is just as amazing. The original green onion cakes are delicious when hot and they come piping to your table.

We had the hot and sour soup, too, which had just the right amount of tofu bits in them. It was a fast meal with some friends over the lunch hour. Next time - I'm taking some home!

The restaurant itself is very simple and practical. He was using disposable cutlery and plates when we were there so I recommend you bring your own if that's an eco concern for you. That may have changed now, though.

Terrific onion cakes served hot off the grill. We had to wait a little while for our order, but that was because we visited during the Deep Freeze festival (they were very efficient getting the large number of orders out). The restaurant uses recyclable take-out containers.

Great place and great service. Came for an onion cake because it's been the hidden gem that opened. Great tasting cake. I got a free sample from the owner which was great. I haven't really had a onion cake but this was a great introduction to it. Small amount of seating.
