Man, I've never had a pharmacy try and help me like this one. I'm not a big fan of how the rest of the store follows me around, to ensure I'm not stealing. I don't care about that, because of the way the pharmacy treats me. I'm in recovery and have had a huge majority of pharmacist's and doctors dismiss me. The way I get treated here by the one pharmacist alone. makes me not want to go to any other pharmacy. I'm also indigenous and I have had difficulties at other pharmacies. The way the pharmacist here went out of his way to help me, and make me feel herd. Speaks about his character. I honestly don't see myself going to any other pharmacy. The way I was treated was awesome. He contacted my doctor, and tried to get me the help I've been struggling to get from doctor's in Edmonton. I receive a lot grief from doctor's and pharmacies, because a majority of the time they think I'm pill hunting. They see the color of my skin, or that I'm an addict in recovery. They don't listen when I suggest that I've tried enough medications. This pharmacist listened to my issues and made suggestions, and faxed them off to my doctor. My doctor hasn't totally come around. That's okay I'll keep looking for a doctor that will actually hear what I'm saying, and not focus on my addiction, or being indigenous. I've had doctors and pharmacies tell me they didn't feel comfortable giving me the medication because I'm native. I felt herd by the one pharmacist,I can't remember his name at the moment, I think he is the manager of the pharmacy. Any way thanks for all the help

An update!! The way the pharmacy team went above and beyond to help me. An indigenous person. Someone who doesn't feel herd or respected. I'm in tears right now because someone actually herd me out. I wish that their were more pharmacists like this guy. He herd I'm dealing with mental health, and herd my concern. He worked with me to help me find the right medication. He didn't let up. I've never felt more accepted in this country. Me and indigenous person who gets swept under the rug, because the rest of society thinks we get all this free stuff. He understands that I don't have this huge free health care. I'm limited to what my insurance covers. He is working with me and advocated with my doctors until I was herd. I've honestly never felt more accepted by anyone than I do now. I'm grateful for the work they did to help me. I can't even think of the perfect words to say other than gratitude. I really hope London drugs sets the bar for other pharmacies and the way they deal with the indigenous communities of Canada. They've helped me immensely. I honestly would not recommend any other pharmacy for our communities. If this is how the pharmacy will help me an indigenous person in recovery wouldn't recommend any other. It speaks volumes about how they run the company if one of the members is doing this I hope they all do. Again I'm greatful for the team here.

During this critical time they have set up a system where everyone gets a chance to purchase one essential item per visit based on availability (alcohol, hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes, gloves etc). Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing.

Kind of like Canadian Tire, this is only a store that works here in Canada. Pharmacy, import store, electronics and photo, plus beauty and everyday goods. Especially the import part. Always exotic candy and chocolate to be found from many international destinations.
