The service we received at McInnis and Holloway was exceptional. From the very first visit, at an extremely difficult time, they were professional, compassionate, and more helpful than I can possibly explain. With hundreds of concerns on our minds, the staff at M&H patiently and slowly walked us through the entire process and addressed all or our concerns.
Beyond the service itself, they also helped with all coordination of government affairs which was a tremendous weight off our shoulders.
I would not hesitate to recommend M&H to anyone who asks and have repeatedly told friends and family what a tremendous help they were to my family and I.

The service here was really great, all the staff were very accommodating and kind during this difficult time. I only have a couple suggestions. My father passed away suddenly at the age of 60, and we decided to have an autopsy done. We didn't know the extent of the autopsy, and what he would look like after. So when we had the viewing, my family and I were shocked when we saw stitches across his head, which was really upsetting. He also looked very different, it was very difficult to see. With him being so young my family had never done a viewing before, as no one else we knew had passed. All I can say is it would be great for them to just warn family about this, as we also had other family and friends attend his viewing. Also, I didn't realize until after that Costco sells caskets for way cheaper, and ships within a day. Besides a cardboard box, the cheapest/nicest casket is $4000 at MHFH. The costs associated with the funeral were tough financially on my family so this would have been a better option, but obviously MHFH isn't going to tell you that.

Thank you to Stephanie Ho who helped me arrange the final details of my father's Calgary Cooperative Memorial prepaid service.
We were warmly received by welcoming staff. Loved Melissa, the administrator who helped me out so much.
We had an amazing celebration with the help of Pastor Marlette Reed. So lucky to have such a kind and thoughtful homily written for us.
Everything was arranged beautifully from the obituary, flowers, arranging the family photos, playing our chosen music during the service and serving a very pleasant luncheon at the reception. We are truly grateful for your care at our time of grief.

We hold deep gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding service rendered by McInnis and Holloway, Crowfoot Chapel, in handling arrangements for our son Chris who recently passed away. The understanding, care and professionalism demonstrated by all those with whom we met was so very comforting and assuring at this difficult time.

A special note of thanks goes to our celebrant, Heidi Grogan, an incredibly warm and understanding person, with whom we were able to make an immediate bond and connection. Though not having met our son, her comments during the service reflected his spirit, soul and legacy so perfectly in every way.

Thank you to all at McInnis and Holloway for being there in our time of need.

    Linda, Gary and Curtis
