If you are looking for an easy day hike while in the city, this is your place. Multiple trails with some decent vertical, beautiful views and friendly people. It makes the afternoon fly by to take an Uber to the Douglas Fir Trail entrance, hike down to the river, back up into the bluffs and end up in Edworthy Park. I even took it further across the bridge to Angel’s Cappuccino & Ice Cream. Caught another Uber back to my hotel downtown and called it a day. Great views!

Very nice inner city trail, feels like you aren't in the city anymore. There are many forks and cut-throughs so it may be a little difficult to stay on course.
