Riverdale Dog Park

Great park with plenty of nice dogs and owners. Fenced in. Short walk to the river - rocky beach but the dogs love to swim in there.

Biggest and nicest off leash Dog Park in SW YYC. In the Beautiful Elbow River Valley.????.

Really enjoyable area to walk the dog.Plenty of poo bins and benches to sit and enjoy.

First time going to this park. I really enjoyed taking my dogs here. The park was fairly clean and the people and dogs were all great. It wasn't too busy for 3pm on Sunday.

Only thing to be aware of is that the park isn't 100% fenced.

A good dog park is put in just the right place. By this, I mean a place dogs, or their people, would want to visit anyway even if the park hadn't been allowed to open there. Riverdale Dog Park, aptly named, is one of those places: a large, welcoming, open spot, just under a large hillscape and reasonably near a river. Beautiful hiking trail runs just past the corner of the dog park and hugs the riverside. Large easy-to-use free parking lot. Skies were blue and clear the day I visited, making it a very bright, cheerful destination.
You'll find this large, fenced-in dog park at the end of Riverdale Crescent. The homes all gorgeous, tall, and fully restored.
The fenced-in area of the dog park is very large, lots of running space. No segregation between large and small dogs, but plenty of wide-open space for you and your best friend to wander off and walk together. A fun, happy spot for sure!
