Great busy dog park, but I feel It needs some stuff to occupy dogs in there. It's just a fenced field. When it's busy it's good lots of room to run around.

Good place. Would be better if there was tails to walk the dogs off leash

West nose Creek park and confluence dog park are hidden gems in the city of Calgary.
There's so much to say about the area from the communities that meet and chat at confluence off leash dog park letting their pups socialize safely- to the Beautiful pathways of nose Creek (on leash dogs are welcome to protect our ecosystem). We have a family of coyotes and pups can be seen in the spring, beavers and there pups are a treasured memory for my two children. Also in the early mornings of Summer you can hear the frogs chirping along the wooden bridge. not to forget the deer that frequent the area, as well as for two years in a row we have had a moose travel through from the banff Parkway.

But my treasured moment of this area is back in 2013 the airplanes used to fly right over this Valley every 7 minutes and during that time there was no Wildlife hardly any birds and it was so loud it turned a peaceful walk into counting airplanes. I was very grateful when WestJet listen to my request, my request to change their flight path to preserve this Conservation area. WestJet acknowledge the area immediately and it was no trouble at all for them to redirect airplanes just slightly over not to disrupt the area. Since then we have had so many birds return to this Little Valley the birdwatchers Society favours this area due to the mated pair of hawks we have and recently this summer an actual bald eagle. Not to neglect to mention all the other beautiful species.

If you're looking for a symbolic place a native American burial grounds still have stone burials in this area. Many community members still approached the stones as a meditation point say a little prayer and then continue on their walk for the day.

As you can see I could go on forever this little Oasis in Calgary has been a beacon of life and light for so many community members that I am so grateful that the city of Calgary has left it untouched.
