Varsity Ravine Park

Beautiful park with great walkways. What matters? Despite the snow , the walkway is clear of snow. Little chance of slipping and sliding your way down. This is obviously a very rich neighborhood with incredible homes and fabulous views. Ah, to have a couple of million dollars to splurge on a home. It's a nice walk with no steep inclines. Calk it a beginner's walk, maybe 3 or 4 k.

This is the best place to walk your dog in Varsity, hands down. It is safe to let your dog off leash, there is no threat of traffic at all, since there are houses on either side of the ravine. There are always plenty of other dogs around for yours to play with.

There are 4 large garbage bins placed within the park, so you won't be stuck carrying doggy bags for long. It can be easily accessed from both Varsity Village and Varsity Estates. Also, they do a good job ploughing the walkway, so it's safe to walk in the snow without worrying about slipping!

One of my favourite places to let our dog run off her energy and socialize. Nice place, friendly people and 99% friendly pets too!

Beautiful park for the kids, the dogs and bikes. Lots of green space.
It's great for a quiet stroll around it.

It has play structures, good sledding hills for kids, a nice paved pathway for biking or running, and lots of off-leash dogs, which I like too.
