One of the summer hangout places with in the city. Entrance for a fee. Good place to play in the sand water may be a bit cold for swimming.

Great beach to spend a hot summer afternoon. So glad to see they have the canteen open again so you can get something small to eat if you don’t feel like packing in food. Beach is always clean, the bathrooms could use a little more attention sometimes but they aren’t horrible. I enjoy spending time here.

Well maintained facilities with lots of space for families. Good place to spend some quality time with your family and friends on weekends or evenings. Lots of fun for kids.. must go and enjoy the summer.

Wonderful place to spend a hot summer day! Children under 5 get free admission, adults only $5, change rooms and concession readily available. The lake is well maintained and great for kids, whether for swimming, drifting around on a flotation device or building sand castles with moats, etc. I highly recommend this spot. If you haven't tried it, you should!
