Ubuntu Pies

The pies are delicious! They offer a variety of fillings and the pie crust is so buttery and flaky. I'm not really a savory pie person but these are the exception. They are made with local ingredients by people who give back to their community. You owe it to yourself to try them.

My parents and I tried some of the pies from Ubuntu Pies, and they were excellent. The pastry used was perfectly flaky, and spicy flavours like jerk chicken had a good amount of heat but also plenty of flavour. The steak and mushroom pie was also delicious. I'll definitely be going back to Ubuntu Pies' location at the Granary Road market.

I highly recommend these homemade pies. The crust is light and fluffy and there is loads of delicious filling in each pie. I recommend all the different flavors, especially the Jerk Chicken and steak and mushroom. They are easy to heat up for a quick meal. Good for the whole family.

Ubuntu pies are unlike any other meat pies. They smell and taste spectacular! Excellent quality food made by wonderful people!!

Excellent pies. All kinds of flavors, good level of spice for the spicy ones and generous portions of meat contained within. The pastry for the pie is quite delicate and delicious.
