Springbank Airport

We came through Springbank in late summer 2017 in our two small back-country aircraft, returning to the United States (Seattle WA), after an extended back country trip in Alaska. We loved the airport, got free tie-downs at the local flight school, and were allowed to wait out some thunder cells in the upstairs lounges with the company of the head flight instructor. The whole experience was top notch.

CYBW is a great airport to train at. I did my PPL here which was great practice due to the class C airspace, and plenty of traffic. It made me a much more confident pilot when it came to busy airspace and ATC communication. The controllers are also very understanding due to the number of new flyers. If you're looking for an airport to train at, Springbank is a great option.

Took my hubby for a first flight "fly the plane" he had such an amazing time and the pilot was awesome. I highly recommend it.
