Fionn MacCool's

Was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Crossiron, as I had only ever eaten at fast food places there. The pub is actually really big, it goes back a long ways. Also surprised at the family friendly atmosphere. We were given a whole area to ourselves in the beginning, so we had room for the stroller and our things. Looking around, saw many families with a similar idea, looking for a place to relax for a while and get a bite to eat. The food is also really good, with a good happy hour. There are also daily specials, Wednesday has fish and chips for 11$, very tasty too. The salmon pie was also delicious. Totally recommend for a nice break from the busy shopping atmosphere in Crossiron.

The beautiful weather made us desire to sit on an outdoor patio for a brunch style meal. We decide on Fionn MacCool's . We have had bad experiences in the past but wanted to enjoy the sun on a patio. We enjoyed our visit, Brianne was a very fluid server, keeping six tables balanced and happy. My sister and I asked for her recommendation with food choices and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed our appointed dishes. Everything was just as we had asked.

My first visit to Fionn MacCool's, the food was great, nice atmosphere, very friendly hostess. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because there weren't enough servers on especially being New Year's day. We got our drink order quickly but then proceeded to wait over 25 minutes to place our food order. The only reason our order was finally taken was because I approached the hostess to see if she could send our server to our table. The food came out in spurts. Four in our party, 3 trips to the table to get our food over a period of 10 minutes. I will probably try this restaurant again only because the food was good, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I certainly wouldn't go back for the poor, slow service!

We were a party of 12 people (including 3 kids) and went to Fionn MacCool's in Cross Iron Mills for Mother's Day brunch. Not only was the food great with a variety of choices, but so was the service. I must say that Breanne, our server, was top notch! She was knowledgeable with the menu, helpful with suggestions, and was always prompt with a cup of coffee or the dessert menu. She even helped us by taking a picture of our group celebrating. Best server we've come across in a long time. Thanks for helping us celebrate the 'Best Mother's Day ever!'

What a wonderful find in a sea of retailers. When you enter the stream and please note here you had best enter the right stream. If not your fighting a surge of determined shoppers very tiring. Once sorted and the meal hour is upon you then Finn MacCool's is the best place to rally yourselves for the shopping ahead. If your timing is right you may meet a wonderful professional server named Breanne. She is professional, engaging and helpful. I certainly hope the management recognize her and others for what they give back to you the management and ownership. We loved our scrumptious lunch, and I enjoyed sharing my hobby of fountain pens with Breanne. Good luck, don't change a thing..we'll be back.
